Air Fired Brussel Sprouts
I know right? Brussel Sprouts? Really? I am here to share with you YES! Once you have had them prepared this way, you will view that little odd vegetable in a whole new light! First though, embrace the use of your Air Fryer. (This was one of the Essential Items on our list.) It is amazing how quick and easy you can prepare meals with little effort or mess. Your creations will be crisp and juicy. I will be sharing in a upcoming blog how to air fry steak, and this is coming from a hard core grill guy. But back to the Brussel Sprouts, here is how to prepare the delicious, crisp on the outside, tasty on the inside. creation that will compliment any dish. I had mine with Grouper. Ingrediants
- 1 8oz package of Brussel Sprouts.
- Bacon or any other add in you can think of (recommend precooking the bacon and cutting into pieces).
- Olive Oil
- Salt, Pepper, Seasoning of Choice (I used Old Bay with this batch).
Steps
- Cut the Sprouts in half and soak in cold water for 15 minutes.
- Drain and dry the Sprouts.
- Place Sprouts in Zip Lock bag, coat in Olive Oil, Season, shake until well covered.
- Add all to Air Fryer basket including any add in items like Bacon.
- Air fry at 375 degrees for 15 minutes, shaking basket every 5, if more time is needed go in 5-minute increments.
- Enjoy!
