A Man's Watch
A man’s watch, a subtle yet powerful message. Take a look around, look at the watches in the room, what do you see? When you see a nice watch it just stands out. It was time to switch out my fitness watch when I went out to something sharper. (I mean do you really need to track steps all the time?) Now that being said, I did not need a $5000 watch. You can look sharp for under $200 even $100. Invicta watches offer an impressive selection with great deals. I recently bought one for just $100, and it’s big, bold, and eye-catching. My previous Invicta watches have proven to be durable and highly visible. Remember to pay attention to the dimensions when shopping for a new watch, as Invicta watches can be larger than most. Here is a comparison of my Invicta, my Garmin Forerunner 920, and my Garmin Fenix 6 (similar in size to an Apple watch).

Working out consistently is key to achieving your fitness goals. However, busy schedules and expensive gym memberships can make it difficult to stay on track. That’s why setting up a home gym is a great solution to overcome these obstacles and make exercising a part of your daily routine. In this blog post, we’ll go over some essential equipment for a home gym that won’t break the bank.
First things first, let’s talk about flooring. A rubber mat is a simple and cost-effective solution to protect your floor from damage and provide a comfortable surface for your workouts. The mat also offers better grip, which is particularly important when doing exercises like yoga or planks. Plus, it’s easy to install and maintain.
Next, an adjustable bench is a versatile piece of equipment that can be used for a variety of exercises, from chest press to tricep dips. The Marcy bench mentioned in this post is a great option as it’s sturdy and can be easily adjusted to different angles. This means you can target different muscles groups and make your workouts more challenging.
In addition to an adjustable bench, a set of adjustable dumbbells is a great investment for a home gym. These dumbbells are perfect for anyone who wants to do strength training without buying a full set of weights. The beauty of adjustable dumbbells is that you can quickly change the weight without having to stop and swap out plates. This makes it easy to perform drop sets, as the author mentioned, or to adjust the weight to suit your fitness level.
Another advantage of having a home gym is that you can work out at any time without having to leave your house. This means you can fit in a quick workout before work, during your lunch break, or even late at night. Having your own gym also means you don’t have to deal with crowded spaces or waiting in line for equipment.
In conclusion, setting up a home gym is a great way to stay consistent with your fitness routine and achieve your goals without breaking the bank. With just a few pieces of equipment, like a rubber mat, an adjustable bench, and adjustable dumbbells, you can create a space that works for you and fits your lifestyle. So why not give it a try and see the positive changes that a home gym can bring to your life?
delicious Smoked Chicken Wings
This is by far one of my favorite meals to make, whether it’s for game day or a neighborhood gathering. These wings are big, juicy, and bold in taste. You can completely customize the flavor to your liking. Think of the following recipe as a starting point for your own culinary creation!
These wings can be made on a gas grill. You can either smoke them or grill them.
For smoking, soak wood chips of your choice in water 2 hours prior to cooking. Drain and place the chips in a smoker box (see picture). Experiment with different chip types for unique flavor combinations. Place the box right on the grate and turn the heat on high.
1 package of 16 chicken wings
3 tbsp salt (more or less to taste)
4 tbsp smoked paprika
2-4 tbsp chipotle (or other heat to taste)
3 tbsp brown sugar
Divide the chicken wings into 2 separate gallon zip lock bags.
Mix all the dry ingredients together and adjust the quantities to your taste.
Pat the chicken wings dry and apply a small amount of olive oil.
Pour 1/2 of the dry mix into each bag, shake and coat.
Place the smoker box on one side of the grill and turn the heat on high. Reduce the heat once the box begins to smoke. Adjust the temperature to 225 degrees.
Place the chicken wings in a holder and put it on the non-heat side of the grill.
Smoke for 1-2 hours at 225 degrees.
You can also grill the chicken wings. Cook them over low heat for around 35-45 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
Highly recommend using a grill thermometer as the gauge on the grill and the actual grate temperature can differ by as much as 200 degrees.
Enjoy your smoked or grilled chicken wings with your favorite beer!
